Stablecoins

Stablecoins track $1. Native USDC and USDt are the main ones on NEAR.

Stablecoins are tokens that try to stay worth $1. On NEAR the main ones are USDC and USDt, issued natively on NEAR.

You'll also see USDC.e and USDT.e: older versions bridged over from Ethereum. They work, but the native ones are the usual choice.

Stablecoins are handy for parking value, paying people, or getting out of a volatile token without leaving crypto.

🎯 Try it yourself

Swap some of your USDC into USDt

You got USDC in the gas lesson. A small amount is fine. Small amounts are perfect. Every swap counts toward your free Swap Feline.
