NEAR and wNEAR
wNEAR is NEAR in token form, always 1:1, and you can switch back any time.
Tokens on NEAR follow one standard (called NEP-141), so every app knows how to handle them. NEAR itself is older than that standard, so apps use wNEAR (wrapped NEAR): a token that is always worth exactly 1 NEAR.
Wrapping turns NEAR into wNEAR and unwrapping turns it back. On NEKO Swap both are free (no site fee) and NEKO does them for you during swaps.
🎯 Try it yourself
Wrap 0.1 NEAR into wNEAR (free)
Then try the Unwrap button to turn it back. Small amounts are perfect. Every swap counts toward your free Swap Feline.
