Every swap made through the NEKO swap page is recorded on the NEAR blockchain, including the ones made before launch, and all of it is credited to the wallet that made them. Your cat starts at the tier your volume has already earned. Open the swap page, connect the wallet you swapped with and press Claim.

Your tier depends on your total swap volume on the NEKO site, added up in US dollars. Each tier keeps everything from the tiers below it and adds something new, so you can see how far a cat has come just by looking at it.

I Copper

The starting cat. Polished copper, a lucky coin and a big smile.

II Bronze

$250+

Antique bronze. Adds a lucky bell and cushion tassels.

III Silver

$1,000+

Fluffier fur, an embroidered cushion and its first coin stack.

IV Gold

$2,500+

Solid gold, with sunglasses on and a chain round its neck.

V Jade

$5,000+

Carved jade. Floating coins and rays of light appear.

VI Ruby

$10,000+

Faceted ruby, with a royal cape and a second coin stack.

VII Obsidian

$25,000+

Volcanic glass. The glasses come off: glowing eyes, an aura and sparkles.

VIII Diamond

The top tier. Cut from pure crystal and crowned.

How it works

Swap on the NEKO site

Use the swap page for any pair it offers, buying or selling. Every swap adds to your wallet's total.

Your volume is recorded

Each swap is valued in US dollars at the time you make it and recorded against your wallet on the NEAR blockchain.

Claim on the swap page

Connect the wallet you swapped with and press Claim under the swap button. Your cat starts at the highest tier your volume has reached, past swaps included. You pay only its small storage cost (about 0.01 NEAR; anything extra is refunded).

Keep levelling up

Your cat upgrades as you go. When you cross the next threshold, the same NFT moves up to the new tier and its new artwork.

Decided

The rules

One cat per wallet. It belongs to the wallet that did the swapping, and volume can't be moved between wallets or added together.
Only swaps made through the NEKO swap page count. Swaps made directly on Rhea or in other apps don't.
Volume is cumulative. Buys and sells on any pair all add up, and there's no minimum swap size.
No trading until 28 December 2026. Every cat stays in its wallet for the first 90 days. The date is written into the contract. After that, cats can be traded. A cat that is sold keeps the rank its swap volume earned on the day of the sale; the bonus from staked Felines stays with the staker and doesn't travel with the cat.
Sales pay a 5% royalty to the NEKO community on NEAR marketplaces, fixed in the contract. A wallet that sells its cat can't claim another one, so every live cat still reflects real swapping.

Perks for higher tiers. Ideas include swap fee discounts, a volume leaderboard and community rewards. Anything confirmed will be announced first.

Do swaps from before launch count?

Yes. Every swap made on the NEKO swap page includes the small site fee in the same approval, and that marks it on the blockchain as a NEKO-site swap. Those records are public and permanent, so each wallet's full history is added up when it claims.

How do I claim?

Open the swap page, connect the wallet you swapped with and press Claim under the swap button. Your wallet asks you to approve one small transaction (0.02 NEAR attached for the NFT's storage; the unused part comes straight back).

How is volume measured?

Each swap is valued in US dollars using token prices at the time of the swap, and every swap your wallet makes is added together. Buys and sells count the same.

I swapped directly on Rhea. Does that count?

No. Only swaps made through the swap page on this site count, because those are the ones that support the NEKO community. The swaps still go through Rhea's pools, so you get the same liquidity either way.

Can I sell my Swap Feline?

Not until 28 December 2026. After that, yes: list it on a NEAR marketplace like any NFT (a 5% royalty goes to the NEKO community). A sold cat keeps the rank its swap volume earned (without the staked-Feline bonus) from the day it was sold, and the wallet that earned it can't claim a new one.

Will my cat change when I reach a new tier?

Yes. You keep the same NFT: press Upgrade on the swap page and its tier and artwork update. If you unstake Felines and your targets go back up, your cat can move down to the tier your volume supports, and back up when you stake again.
