NEKO
Feline Staking

Stake your Felines. Unlock the perks.

Good Fortune Felines and Freaky Felines now do more than look good. Stake them in the new NEKO staking contract to cut your swap fees in half and reach every Swap Feline tier with less volume.

50% off

Swap fees

Stake at least 1 Feline and the site fee on every swap is halved: 0.5% on NEKO pairs and 0.25% on other pairs.

Up to 70%

Lower Swap Feline targets

Each Good Fortune Feline takes 10% off the volume needed for every tier (up to 7). Each Freaky Feline takes 5% off (up to 14). The total is capped at 70%.

30 days

Minimum stake

Staking costs 0.1 NEAR per Feline. After 30 days, unstaking is free. Need one back sooner? You can, for 5 NEAR per Feline.

Connect your wallet (or check any account) to see how close it is to each tier.

Counts every swap made through the NEKO swap page, valued in US dollars on the day. This is the volume your Swap Feline is ranked on. Targets always use the Felines you have staked right now.

Is this safe?

The staking contract has no owner and no admin functions. Its deploy key hasn't been removed yet, so for now whoever holds that key could replace the contract's code. Once the key is removed (we'll announce it), nobody can change the contract. Only the wallet that staked a Feline can unstake it, and it always goes back to that wallet. This page never holds your NFTs or keys: your wallet shows every step before you approve.

What does staking cost?

0.1 NEAR per Feline, paid in the same approval as the stake. 0.09 NEAR supports the community team and 0.01 NEAR stays in the contract to cover its storage. You also pay the usual tiny network fee.

How does the 30-day lock work?

Each Feline has its own 30-day timer from the moment it was staked. After that, unstaking is free. Before that, you can still unstake, but it costs 5 NEAR per Feline. The page always shows the fee before you approve.

What happens to my perks if I unstake?

They update straight away to match the Felines you still have staked. Swap Feline tiers are always worked out from your current discount, so if your volume is below a tier's new target after unstaking, your cat moves down to the tier it qualifies for. Stake again and it moves back up.

Do Felines on the old staking contracts count?

No. Only Felines staked in the new NEKO contract count. If yours are still on the original contracts, get them back on the Unstake page first, then stake them here.

Why was a Feline sent back to me?

The contract sends a Feline straight back if a wallet already has the maximum staked (7 Good Fortune or 14 Freaky), if the stake fee wasn't prepaid, or if someone other than the owner (for example a marketplace with approval) tried to stake it. Any unused stake fee stays as credit you can use next time or withdraw.

Can I send a Feline to the staking contract myself?

Only through this page. A Feline sent with a plain transfer (not the staking call this page uses) is not recorded as staked, and the contract has no way to return it.

A Feline says "Stuck". What do I do?

Very rarely a transfer back can fail to settle. After a day, a Fix button appears: the contract asks the collection who really holds that Feline and corrects the record, returning it to your staked list or closing it out, and refunding or settling any early fee held for it. Anyone can press it and it costs only the network fee.

Who else can affect staked Felines?

The staking contract has no admin functions, but until its deploy key is removed, whoever holds that key could replace the contract. The two Feline collections are separate contracts from the original team, and their keys are still active, so whoever holds them controls those collections, staked or not. That was true before staking too; staking doesn't add to it.
